Operation Theatre and Anesthesia Technologies is an allied health professional who assist the surgeon and anesthetist in the operation theater with the surgical procedure. Working under the direction of the surgeon and anesthetist.
JOB PROFILES
- Preparing the Operating Theatre & equipment required to perform surgery/
- Work closely with the Surgeon and assist him in the surgical procedure.
- Assisting the Anesthetist in the acquisition, preparation, and application of various types of equipment required for the delivery of anesthesia care.
- Preparing and assisting in the delivery of Anesthetic medication in the right dosages to the patient.
- Overseeing the smooth functioning of clinical; equipment used during surgery and post-operative care.
- Explaining procedures, observing and positioning patients, and using protection devices to ensure safety and comfort during treatment.
